The brief

Find it, post it, rate it, get credit.

The Geek Chronicles is for collectors of nerd and geek culture: toys, figures and memorabilia. Members find deals on sites like Amazon, share them, rate them and comment on them, and they earn points for helping.

The community makes the feed, so posting and rating have to be quick, and contributing has to feel worth it.

The screens

What happens off the main path.

The loop fits in four screens. The rest of the file covers what happens around it: a link someone already posted, a deal that expired, a search with no results, nothing saved yet.

  • Onboarding screen in Spanish. Neon artwork of the mascot, a bearded character in a hood and red glasses, above the logo, a line inviting you to sign up and connect with the community, and a Continue button.
Onboarding: sign up and join the community
  • How-to screen in Spanish titled Share deals. Two phones show the plus button on the feed leading to the post form, with four page dots and two buttons below.
How to use: sharing a deal, step by step
  • Categories list in Spanish under a search field, sorted by relevance, with logos for Marvel, DC Comics, Masters of the Universe, Monster High, Bratz, LEGO, Funko and Dragon Ball.
    Categories: follow what you collect
  • Post a deal screen in Spanish. A heading asks if you found an incredible deal, with one field for the link, a blue Start button and a link to continue without one.
    Posting starts with the link
  • Duplicate screen in Spanish. A red heading says we already have this deal, above the existing deal's card, a button to add another link and a Close link.
    The link is already posted
  • Deal detail in Spanish for a Transformers figure, with a red Expired chip beside the discount and price, a category and Subscribe chip, and a description.
    A deal that expired
  • Search screen in Spanish showing 0 results and search saved, with a green message saying you'll be notified when matching deals appear.
No results, so the search is saved
  • Notifications screen in Spanish on the Saved tab. An empty state with a heart icon explains saving keywords for updates and offers an Add button.
Saved keywords, before there are any
  • Price tracking form in Spanish. An Amazon link field, a target price or percentage difference to be notified at, a delete link and an Edit button.
    Price tracking: set a target
  • Price tracking list in Spanish. Two cards for the same tumbler show current price, original price and difference, one with a green check on the difference, and an Add button below.
