How I work
- 01
Lead the work, not just the screens.
For five years I've been the design lead, often the only designer, making the calls with product, business and engineering. Today I lead two squads at Crediclub while we build the design practice from the ground up.

Design in the medium it ships in.
I build the front end directly in code with AI and no-code tools, and keep Figma for documentation. Teams react to a working interface, not a picture of one.

Systems first, ready for AI.
I've built design systems throughout my career. Now I define them so AI tools can build from them too, which is how speed doesn't cost quality.

Shipping is the start.
Once a product is live, I keep improving it. I work in the code myself, so the small fixes and adjustments the team asks for go out right away instead of waiting in a backlog. Belong's Control Panel went from MVP to V1 to V2, shaped by the teams using it every day.

I'm Hee Moon, a product designer who leads. For five years I've been the design lead, often the only designer, for US startups and Latin American companies.
Today I'm at Crediclub, a fintech in the middle of a digital transformation. I lead two squads, ship tools built directly in code with AI, and help define the design system and process from the ground up.
Before that I led design for Belong's platform, from the design system to the AI that tells people what to do next.
I'm based in Monterrey, Mexico, on Central Time (UTC−6), and I work in English, Spanish and Korean.
