Hee MoonSenior Product Designer

Giving a Korean engineering firm its own voice in Mexico.

Sungwon México builds the electrical, network and fire-protection systems inside Korean plants in Nuevo León, and it had no website. I designed and built one alone with Claude Code, from positioning and copy to the last line of code, with the client's feedback shaping each round.

Engineering behind the largest Korean plants in Mexico

The brief

Same company, different market.

Sungwon México has worked in Nuevo León's Korean industrial corridor since 2010. Its buyers are plant managers and procurement leads at Korean manufacturers, plus decision-makers in Korea who have to trust a partner from a distance.

The Korean HQ's site speaks to buyers at home. In Mexico, Sungwon competes locally, so the main directive was to stand apart from it.

The difference

One mark, nothing else in common.

Both sites carry the same S. My first round still leaned on Korean conventions, so the client asked for something of its own and gave me full freedom on colour, type and layout.

The argument changed too. HQ opens on a company message over a landmark project. Mexico opens on a claim only Sungwon México can make: the engineering behind the country's largest Korean plants.

The idea

Proof instead of promises.

Two client decks and market research pointed the same way: trust here comes from named, dated work, not from saying you're reliable. So the projects carry the site.

Four flagship plants show land and factory area, nine more projects open photo galleries, and a timeline lists 75+ projects one by one.
